A Place at Lunch
And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father’s sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

The girl sat down, and Chloe told her where to put the tray when lunch was over. By the end of the meal, they knew each other's favorite books.
In the Bible, David gave Mephibosheth a place at his table because he remembered his promise to Jonathan. Chloe's small welcome was not the same event, but it showed a simple kind of care.
Notice someone who needs room. A welcome becomes real when you make a place for the person.
