Amelia liked her yellow kite until she saw Henry's large dragon kite. Suddenly hers seemed too small. She stopped running and let it fall into the grass.
Her little brother picked it up and admired the bright tail. Amelia looked again. Her kite still flew, and the wind had not changed. She had stopped enjoying it because someone else had a different one.
Envy is wanting another person's good thing so much that we become unhappy with our own. God warns us about it. Amelia could enjoy her kite and be glad for Henry too.
Let someone else's good day stay good without making your own gifts seem worthless.
