The Picture on the Fridge
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Proverbs 18:21 KJV
This is an original fictional illustration, not a historical report or an added Bible event.
Nora showed her drawing to her brother. He almost laughed at the uneven wheels, but then he saw how carefully she had colored the bus.
He told her he liked the bright windows. Later, when she asked for help, he showed her how to draw a round wheel. Nora put the picture on the fridge and began another one.
Words can hurt or help. God's Word teaches us to use them carefully. Nora's brother did not need to pretend the drawing was perfect. He could be kind and truthful at the same time.

The proverb emphasizes the serious consequences of speech. Words can help or deeply harm. It does not teach that human speech has God's creative power or that saying something makes it happen.
