You Can Stop Trying to Impress the Saviour

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

You may feel pressure to make every part of your life look easy. It becomes hard to admit confusion when everyone expects you to have an answer. Even your Bible reading can turn into an effort to prove that you are doing well enough.
Jesus invites the burdened to come to Him. He does not invite them to polish their appearance first. His rest is found in receiving Him and learning His way. He is meek and lowly, yet He remains the Lord whose yoke we take.
Salvation rests on Christ's finished work, not on your ability to present an impressive spiritual record. Those who belong to Him continue to need His patient instruction. Admit what you do not understand. Bring sin into the light instead of decorating it with excuses. Receive help from mature believers. Following Jesus includes learning, and learners have no need to pretend they already know everything.
Put the passage into practice
Exhaustion can come from trying to maintain an image that never allows weakness. Jesus' invitation directs us to Himself, including His gentle character and authority to teach. The rest He gives is not a promise that discipleship contains no demands. It is found under the care of the right Master. Bring your need to Christ, and receive practical support where you are overburdened. A better schedule may help fatigue, but only the Saviour can deal with the burden of sin.
Keep the passage in context
Jesus invites burdened people to come to Him and learn from Him. His rest does not remove His lordship; His invitation includes taking His yoke and learning His meekness.
