A Faithful Saviour through Every Season Together

Written for Bible Journey Plan. Our editorial standards.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Hebrews 13:8 KJV

The people who begin a marriage will experience many changes. Work, health, responsibilities, and abilities may all take forms they could not have described on the wedding day. Loving well requires continued learning.

Christ remains the same in His character and saving sufficiency. We should not expect every season to feel identical, but we can trust the same Lord within each one. His Word does not lose its truth when circumstances become unfamiliar.

Keep learning about your spouse as life changes. A need that was small years ago may now require attention. A familiar routine may need adjustment. Patience allows the relationship to mature instead of demanding that the other person remain exactly as they were when everything felt easier.

Let the unchanging Saviour provide steadiness while you make those adjustments. Trust Him for salvation, follow His teaching, and seek wise help with practical needs. A lasting marriage is not built by preventing every change. It is tended through faithful love amid change, under the care of the Lord whose truth remains dependable when the household is learning another new season.
