Keep Serving with Resurrection Hope

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV
There are days when the work of love feels unnoticed. A spouse gives patient care, completes an ordinary responsibility, or continues faithfully through a tiring season with little visible response.
Paul's encouragement rests on resurrection. Christ has risen, and the future He promises is real. Work done in Him is not measured finally by the appreciation it receives before evening.
This does not excuse taking your spouse for granted. Offer thanks, share responsibilities, and address unfair burdens. The verse is encouragement for faithful service, not a tool for persuading someone to accept endless neglect.
Let resurrection hope strengthen the work that is truly yours. Be dependable in a promise, gentle in a reply, and honest in a difficult matter. Receive appropriate rest and help along the way. The Lord sees more accurately than either spouse can, and His future gives present obedience a lasting setting. You may not be able to measure all that a faithful act accomplishes. You can know that service offered to the risen Saviour has not become worthless because the room was quiet when the task was finished.
