Being Right Is Not the Whole Task

You can win the factual point and still misuse your words. Accuracy matters, but so does the purpose and manner of speaking. Proverbs 31:26 places wisdom beside kindness rather than asking us to choose between them.

This is especially important when you know more about a subject than someone else. Knowledge can become a tool for helping or a way of establishing superiority. The difference often appears in whether you make learning easier or embarrassment larger.

Explain patiently. Correct the claim rather than attacking the person's worth. Receive a correction with the humility you hope to see in others. Kindness does not require surrendering truth. It asks you to speak truth as someone who also needs patience, instruction, and grace.
