Hope for the Unfinished Part

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 KJV
Every marriage has something unfinished. A responsibility is still being learned, a difficulty still needs attention, or a hope remains beyond reach. It is possible to let that unfinished part overshadow everything else.
The God of hope gives believers a firmer place to stand. His promises in Christ remain true while circumstances are incomplete. Joy and peace do not require a claim that every practical concern has already been resolved.
Continue working honestly on what belongs to you. Seek counsel, make the needed adjustment, and keep ordinary kindness present. Hope becomes careless if it is used to avoid responsibility, but responsibility becomes heavy when it forgets hope entirely.
Encourage one another with truth from Scripture rather than predictions you cannot guarantee. The Lord knows the future and is faithful within the present. A couple can acknowledge the work still needed without describing the whole marriage as a failure. Let God's grace steady the next step. The unfinished part is real, but it is not the only part of the life you share, and it does not place your future beyond His care.
